SYNOPSIS
Dwindling Numbers is a story of captured youth who are being held hostage and tested on by two chemists.  The children are kept in isolation, but despite their solitude, they are able to keep their spirits alive by communicating with the prisoners in the other cells.  The emotion and communication of the youth are portrayed through song, which contrasts with the cold silence of the impersonal institution that they are held captive in and foreshadows a possible new hope for their future.
